Activities in adult sports parks

Cambrils City Council offers healthy outdoor routes and activities for the elderly.

The aim of this new outdoor sports revitalization project is to promote healthy and active aging. In total there will be eleven walks along the roads of the term and eleven outings in the sports parks.

Those interested can register by calling the Casal de la Gent Gran (977795192).

The project, organized through the Casal de la Gent Gran, consists of two complementary activities that will be organized fortnightly: walks along healthy routes in Cambrils (from May 18) and activities in the adult sports parks (from 25 May). In total there will be eleven walks of between 2 and 3 hours along the roads of the term and eleven outings in the sports parks.

Both activities will be carried out by the company Naturetime Events, linked to outdoor experiences, where they develop projects of a leisure, recreation and sports health nature.

All participants in the routes will receive a Walker Kit (with mask, a small hydroalcoholic gel and a small backpack). Activities include accident insurance for the participant and liability insurance for the activity, as required by current regulations. Activities in adult sports parks

The "Healthy outdoor activities in Cambrils adult sports parks" are group outings with a maximum of 12 people who will be accompanied by a monitor. The use of the park equipment will be combined with the elements of the environment such as trees, benches or steps. The objective of this activity is to train users in the basic concepts of health making use of the sports elements of the sports elements of the parks, as well as to improve aspects of social relationship and integration. The activity will take place fortnightly every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. from May 25.
